May 19, 2026 - Alabama Primary Election

As we approach the May Primary, I want to share a little about who I am and why I’m asking for your vote.

Faith First

For me, faith isn't just a Sunday tradition; it is the foundation of my entire life. My walk with Christ guides my marriage, my career as an attorney, and my commitment to this county. My faith will guide my decisions at every meeting.

Unapologetic Conservative

I am a staunch conservative who believes in the America First agenda. I will vote as a Trump Republican to protect life, defend our liberties, and promote economic freedom to keep Alabama strong.

Invested in Jefferson County

My wife Caroline and I live in Hoover. We worship at Shades Mountain Baptist. We work in the county. I serve on the local Republican Executive Committee. We need a representative who understands District 3.

Reliable Participation

From 7 years of attendance, I have seen that decisions are made while Executive Committee seats sit empty. I pledge to be a reliable, active participant in every Party meeting so our county is never left voiceless.

Proven Conservative Leadership

ALGOP State Executive Committee Representative from 2018-2025

Samford SGA Legislation

Notable legislation sponsored during my time in the Student Government Association.

A Resolution to Remove Mask Mandates

In October 2021, members of the Samford community petitioned the Campus Services Committee, which I chaired, to re-evaluate the Covid-19 indoor masking mandates. Because infection numbers were low and vaccination rates were high, we worked hand-in-hand with the University administration to lift the mandatory masking requirement in all indoor areas.

  • A Resolution to Reschedule the Inaugural Speaker
  • A Resolution to Update Samford ID Cards
  • A Bill to Provide Transparency in Elections
  • A Resolution to Alleviate Parking Concerns

Meet Alan

Alan and wife Caroline

Alan lives in Hoover with his wife, Caroline, where they are active members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. An attorney and dedicated community leader, Alan is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Samford University.

A lifelong Republican, Alan has a demonstrated history of service to the conservative movement that extends from his education to his professional life. While in law school, he served on the executive board of the Federalist Society, was a member of the Civic Republicans, and represented his peers as a Senator for the law school in the SGA.

Alan's commitment to the Republican Party is steadfast. He currently serves on the Jefferson County Republicans Executive Committee and is active with the Greater Birmingham Young Republicans. This continues a track record of leadership that includes serving on the ALGOP State Executive Committee for seven years representing his hometown county. He is also dedicated to his alma mater, serving on the Philanthropy Committee of the Samford University Young Alumni Board of Birmingham.

His passion for civic engagement began early. During his time at Samford, Alan led the University’s College Republicans, served as an officer for the College Republican Federation of Alabama, and was elected by the student body as an SGA Senator and Senior Class President. His advocacy dates back even further to high school, where he re-started the Cullman Teenage Republicans to promote engagement during the 2018 Primary Election.
